Seeking Recommendations for PCB Design and IC Driver for 3-Phase BLDC Motor Control with Hall Sensors

Hello,

I am new to the field of PCB design, and any suggestions from you would be greatly appreciated.

I need to design a PCB that can control a 3-Phase BLDC motor with hall sensors. I require an IC driver that includes integrated drivers. I have searched extensively, but I haven't found one that supports Hall sensors. Do you have any recommendations for a suitable IC driver? The BLDC specifications are 24V with a rated current of 1.3A.

Thank you for your time. Below is the link to the DC motor: https://www.zddriver.com/product/br...or/zpn-32-brushless-planetary-gear-motor.html

You are not likely to get the advertised performance from that Motor unless You
also purchase one of the 3 Controllers offered by that same manufacturer,
specifically designed for that particular Gear-Motor.

High-End manufacturers quite often design their Motors and Controllers to be a matched set,
which may, or may not, be compatible with other similar generic devices.

Hi, thanks for the reply.

Yes, you are right. But they didn't provide me with a schematic to use on the PCB. I need the BLDC driver to be on a PCB with all the other components.

Designing and building your own PCB may be quite a challenge for a newcomer. In the UK I’ve used an Infineon driver board which attaches to an Arduino which might work for you?

Hi, thanks for the reply.

Yes, I believe that I will work well on the project. I also found another one that is similar to this. I was analyzing one from Trinamic that offers it, interfacing with a microcontroller via SPI.

Thank you again.

Have you looked at the Motorola MC33035 & MC33039 etc?
Specifically aimed for this application?
Hi, thanks for the reply.

That's a good choice, but I need to figure out how to control the Forward/Reverse function since it requires the use of an analog joystick, with Forward/Reverse depending on the position of the joystick
