HI all,
Some of you might of seen my earlier post regarding some motors to automate the goal keeper on a foosball table. Progress is slow but steady, I'm currently looking for some input regarding the current mechanism. More specifically the system to transfer the rotary and linear motion to the end point.
For obvious reasons I'm trying as hard as possible to keep the inertia of the moving parts as low as possible. With this in mind I designed the system below, I'm looking for some input regarding whether or not it's the right solution.
The part I'm looking to use is the THK Ball Splines Model SLF
This isn't the cheapest solution so I want to make sure it's an appropriate solution.
