The gain measurements on an amplifier indicate the following readings over the frequency band of interest: 10.3 dB, 10.8 dB, 10.6 dB, and 10.4 db.
How can I calculate the amplitude ripple ?

Thanks

The (voltage or power ??) gain variation is 0.5dB over the region of interest. This can be translated to an output voltage variation for a known input signal level.

So is the stated gain a power gain or voltage gain?

Thanks t_n_k,

But how did you get 0.5 dB. The gains in dB over the frequency range is voltage. Please describe how you determined the variation over the frequency range is 0.5 dB, I assume this involves S-Parameters of the ripple in the frequency range.

Thanks again,
Terry

Well the minimum gain was quoted as 10.3dB and the maximum was given as 10.8dB. The maximum stated difference or variation then is

10.8dB-10.3dB = 0.5dB.
