I have a chance to get a Rigol Arb. wave form generator "DG5102". Have not found a manual. But what concerns me most, is a PC program to talk to the box. Usually this type of box comes with a program to make waveforms.
Just hope some one has a Rigol signal generator and can say if it works well or not.
Thanks

I have a DG1062 by Rigol, it works fine, but the user-interface design sucks.

I find it slows me down, fiddling with the menus and such, it's as if the designer never actually tried to USE the damn thing.
Same goes for my RIGOL power supply, great value- crappy UI design.

YES.
I have tried to explain to firmware engineers, "this is not right". I literally took a analog signal generator and digital into a meeting and raced to see which one could be tuned to 11mhz first. If the digital one is set to 9,999,993 it is a bitch to get to 11,000,000. You must move right 6 time, to get to the "3" increase 6 time, move left 6 time then increase one.

Real question, does RIGO have a piece of software to make Arbitrary Waveforms?
