Rigid Flexi PCB design questions

Hi guys

If you want to design a rigid flexi pcb, how do you define the flexi layer? Say if I want to do a 2 layers PCB with one flexi layer, do I just add one layer and tell the fab the additional layer is flexi layer in my pcb stack up info?
