I had the same problem, with the missing SATA connector.
I've bought a fully working IBY motherboard and removed, then installed on my IBR and connected
with the SATA connector which I ordered from China:)
One of the best SMD Reworkers replaced it between the motherboards for me.:D

I had a very poor performance problem with a laptop a year ago, it was so very slow it was misearble to use. THEN I discovered that the operation sped had been set for maximum battery run time, which horribly degraded the performance. I changed the setting to the in between setting and suddenly the machine was much faster. Then I changed the setting to "Max" and it was a lightning machine, but only a half hour on the battery. So I changed back to the mid setting and it is great. ALSO, get rid of win10, it is slow and it is JUNK. Win7 should give far better performance, although XP would be better if it were still supported. So checking the OS batter conservation setting can be a cheap and easy path to much faster computing.
