Hey thanks! That's OK, there's similar components in the category.

 

Not when used properly with sufficient filtering on the output.

This is completely new territory for me. By "filtering", do you mean use a choke? If so, how do I know what kind of choke to use? And the choke is put on the output, in series I presume? Or are we talking about capacitors? Can someone please shed some light on this?
