Hello fella,
I have secure line safe, it has code only security, no override key. Thera are two master and user code. To change both code, it is required to enter master code. Currently I have only user code, so I can open the safe. But with no master code, I cannot change both code.
My questuin is,
1. How can I reset it to factory default? do I have to replace components? Where to start?
2. What is the dip switch for?
3. Can a professional technician fix it?

Below is the safe's pcb. white button below the speaker is reset button (but master code is required)

Not much to go on there,
there is no obvious external memory,
so numbers probably stored on the bit under the label, which i guess is a micro with built in flash

If you replace the micro, then you need to program it, with code from where ?
even if you do one of the eeprom erase routines, as used by car radio people,
then your going to erase the micro, and have to re program it with something.

Thank you for your answer Andrew,
Unfortunately, that's seems too complicated and risky. I think I will start by exploiting the dip switch, hoping than a combination will reset the master code.

That dip switch seems to operate features, each position seems to be labelled.

Pure guesswork:

2U: Two Users
HTL: Hold To Lock
LBX: Lock Before X(?)
SOL: Signal On Lock

This is PURE speculation, mind you.

These things are designed to be secure at a basic level,
It snot designed to have passwords regularly erased.

If anything I'd guess it would be a debug connector / programmer you would need,
probably with a few pads that have to be connected,
