I have a few DIY synth schematics that call for the NJM2073 stereo amplifier. Unfortunately it is obsolete and unavailable. I found the the TDA2822M which looks like a good replacement (or perhaps it replaced the NJM2073 at some point?) but it is also obsolete. So my question is what is a good IC with a similar pinout and function that can be used instead of the 2073 or 2822. Thank you

Those old little puny power amplifiers might be found in an old clock radio.
The ones sold on ebay might be defective or fakes.

I am hoping there is a replacement chip out there with the same or similar specs that is not obsolete and available from mouser, digikey, etc . . i've searched but haven't come across it. might be time to start tearing apart the clock radio i have.
