Inasmuch as challenges of 'tenured' participants following log-in authentication makes no sense whatever, I must assume such to be manifestation of a 'bug'?

FWIW said challenges, when they occur, tend to be issued while attempting to submit a post and upon selection of 'More Options' during composition of same...

HP I haven't experienced that here on AAC but I've had it happen on other sites when I block a lot of annoying elements with like _uBlock origin_! Cuz if I surf those sites w/o logging on with Ads and _pls register_ nag pop-ups blocked then I sometimes had same exact issue as you when I logged on and submitted post! So maybe security sftwe considers IPs that block elements as committing _suspicious_ activity?

 

Update:
Inasmuch as there has been no recurrence of the described difficulty following creation of this thread, I must conclude that the former has been 'fixed' or was merely a 'passing anomaly'
