i want to make a remote switch (not a infrared one)
can anyone help pls???
wat r the other options other than infra red?

Options...

Simple and cheap, hard-wire a switch. Just run a cable.

First TV remotes were ultrasonic (clickers). Work about the same frequency and coding as infrared, but eat batteries, pets didn't like them, not much range.

Audio, like the DTFM in your telephone.

RF (radio frequency) like car alarms garage doors, R/C models...

Projectiles... throw, shoot, or lauch something at it...
