Here is schematic that provides polarity inversion and switch off motor if it reaches one of its two end positions:

SW1 is On-Off-On DPDT switch with the center position Off. SW 2 and SW 3 are limit switches. Motor voltage and amperage are 12V and 2A (max.). Is it possible to control motor remotely, instead of manual control using SW1? If yes, can you provide me schematic? Thanks in advance

I need simplest solution. It's not neccessary to be remote control using RF, it can be using IR.

 

Also a diode rectifier can be placed across each L.S. and then only two conductors out to the motor side.

Wired - Replace SPDT switch with SPDT relay
Wireless - I would recommend Xbee S1. Cheap and Easy to use assuming you have some electronics backround.

I would rather build than buy whole circuit

 

Two conductors out to the motor with each FWD & REV N.C. L.S. all in series, wire a rectifier across each N.C. switch which when the switch is opened, it will be forward biased/allow for the opposite direction/polarity.

How is that going to work with a reversing supply?
The BEMF is nothing like in a relay or solenoid.
