Business is growing. Lessening and greater cost of savings is our priority. We want to learn more about a comprehensive approach or energy saving
solution to help us keep an eye on our utility bills, processing and overall data management. Can you share to us an innovative energy data solution?

Sure, I bill at $400 a hour, 8 hour minimum plus expenses (air, car rental, hotel, meals, etc.).

But here is the free bit...
If you want to be as energy efficiant as possible, which you probably dont...
Make sure everything you buy/run is as energy efficiant as it can be and then turn it off when it isnt contributing to anything useful.

Unless cost is your driver, in which case calculate the cost, depriciated capital or leased per seat, of the most efficiant, some thing in the middel and the least efficiant. Then factor in the energy cost.
You will probably find that minimum energy spend is not minimum cost, in real terms, because additional energy savings come with deminishing returns.
Slightly better than average PSU or monitor, in terms of energy use, much greater cost...

In either case dont overspec... Desks too bright, disks and processors too fast, room temperature too stable.

Define your goals and then work out how best to achieve, or at least work towards, them.

Collecting metadata to monitor things is all well and good but it isnt going to help if your basic premise was wrong to start with and you blew the budget on clever monitoring just to find yoiu should have bought more suitable kit in the first place, which was easily predicted with a little thought...

Big problems are just lots of little problems you failed to properly break down into manageable chunks.
The only exception being unatainable goals set by poorly concieved and evaluated strategies...

Now I am charging...
Feel free to ask and I will send you a qupote for the answer, or more likely to better define the question, followed by another quote for the solution and a third for the implimentation plan.
