Relay RC snubber connection help needed, please

Hi

I'm using a relay to switch a CRT monitor and LED strip light, which is causing contact sparking when I switch on, but not off. I've bought a little snubber board (seen disconnected in the photo), but I'm unsure which relay terminals I need to wire it to. Do I wire it across the Live and Neutral terminals on the load side of the relay?

I'm in the UK, so mains is 230vac where Brown = Live; Blue = Neutral; Yellow/Green = Earth.

Any guidance in connectioning this safely, much appreciated.

Thanks
Chris

If you want to suppress the contact arc, wire the snubber across the N.O. contact terminals.
If it is double pole relay as shown then you would need a couple of suppressors.

Thanks for the reply. I did wonder if I might need two snubbers. Just so it's clear to me, does the pic show how the snubbers need to be wired?

OK, I've wired a couple of these RC snubber modules to the relay (as per my pic above), but I'm still getting contact sparks when I switch ON. Only seem to happen with the Live (brown wire) contact. Any ideas why this isn't working?
