Hello,

I am putting power supply DC/DC step up 12V to 14V in the car. I would like to use relay to turn on/off when I start and turn off the car.
DC to DC are using 8 awg wire coming in from 12V battery.

Which would be better for 4 pins relay. Seen the first relay with the M6 stud terminal so it might be good for 8 awg wires.

The second one regular relay. But not sure which is best for my purposes. Please advise.

Depends on the current the converter is rated at.
#8 wiring is generally rated at 40 amps so choice #1 would be my recommendation.
