i tried to build a wimax system using 802.16-2004 standard in simulink the webinar about that was pretty helpful but what i intend to do is to know how each block is working to build mine and to be able to enhance it but i gust stacked in the transmitter encoder which consist of 2 stages (Reed solomon encoder & convolutional encoder) what i want is to know how does reed solomon codes work and i followed the paper by "Bernard Sklar" titled "Reed-Solomon Codes" but i also stacked at page 12 in example of representing galois field elements by a polynomial
