Now that I have a Windows box up and running, I'd like suggestions as to which 68HC11 assembler to use.

The one I found (by Hypervision Research) I think is a bit confusing to use and I would either like to know what I'm doing wrong or recommendations for other ones to use.

Edit: I've downloaded THRsim11 and it seems to be usable (other than the memory map doesn't fit my code at the moment). Should I take the plunge and register it or is there another one that may be better?

 

Try ASM11.

I have not used it.

 

That one wouldn't run on Windows 7... will just go ahead and register the other one I'd found.

It's already proven useful in proofreading the source code I'd generated from the original EPROM dump (after having gone in and done a major cleanup of the poorly written portions of the code).
