Hey guys,
Thanks for having me. I’ve learned lots from this site in the past.
I’m working on a project for a customer. The design is simple. Motor (M1) starts when you hit the start button. Motor (M2) starts after M1 has been running 5 seconds. When you hit stop, M2 stops instantly, and M1 continues to run for 5 seconds
M1 is run through an Altistart soft start, and M2 just uses a motor starter. I can’t seem to get the sequence right.
Part of my problem is that M1 soft-start just needs a momentary button to remove the signal (to stop), unlike a normal starter that just de-energizes the coil to stop. The control is all 120V
I have a hard time w/ control work and could use help.
Thank you!
