I was asked to measure the frequency response of the simple RC low pass filter but am not sure if i have done this right or not ? if you could tell me that would be great .

So I've done
1
1+2*3.14*100*0.02*1000

Voltage source 10V
100Hz then have to do 100kHz
C=0.02

and i was also told to and record the attenuation at 15 to 20 frequencies logarithmically spaced over this frequency range. but i have no clue how to do that .

Here is a plot of a 1 Farad Capacitor being charged through a 1 Ohm Resistor. The logarithmic scale on the vertical axis shows that the voltage on the capacitor a low frequencies is equal to the voltage source. The logarithm of Vc/Vin =1 and the logarithm of 1 is 0, thus 0 dB. The green curve is computed by taking 20*log(Vc/Vin).

That formula is so close it hurts!

I would suggest having a quick google of "RC low pass circuit" and find a tutorial and you'll see how close you were
