I am having difficulty solving this RC circuit. I was given this problem by a professor to solve. I am supposed to find the voltage across the middle capacitor. He told me to assume values until I reached a result that made some sense. After a lot of confusion, he gave me a range of values to use. He told me to use a value of less than 5Ωfor R1, ≈0.1Ωfor R2, and ≈10Ω for R3, ≈10μF for C and less than 1A for the current source. Any help will be greatly appreciated. I do not know where to start. To "assume values until you reach a result that makes some sense" ... doesn't make a lot of sense. You either have a problem with defined parameters and data, or you don't.
The way I see it, you should find the total impedance, and work your way back to find the voltage across the capacitor.
UNLESS! you assume that the current source gives DC current. Then you replace all the capacitors with open circuits and your answer is the voltage between resistanses R2 and R3.
Please describe your question more thoroughly.

 

I would assume he wants a step response for the middle capacitor.
