I have one "with" :
hyperfast
600v 8A
average 1.4 max 1.85 V

about 600v it should be equal or bigger right ?
what about 8A ?
and for that average 1.4V and max 1.85

thanks in advance

What about the hyperfast specs?
Can you give us the Make and Model of what you have?

I would not run it constantly at its maximum voltage or current.

Some specifications are based on potential for damage, like reverse conduction across the diode junction or shorting. Other specifications may be based on heat alone, and at the maximum, the device can get quite warm (look at the specifications for a resistor as an example).

ok...explain me with few words the terms :
average forward current - the average current that can flow though the device in forward direction when in scheme ?
what is VFforward voltage ?

For a replacement, 600v 8A -> should be same or Higher.
average 1.4 max 1.85 V -> should be same or Lower

This is the Voltage drop across the diode at 8 Amps. It will need a good heat sink.

is it acceptable to replace :
PFR30L45CT
with
30ctq045

2 things that are questioning me are :
30A 45V MOS Schottky Rectifier
SCHOTTKY RECTIFIER

VF@15A Tj=125 C 0.46V
VF@15A TJ=125 C 0.56V

thanks in advance

Did the original burn out? What are the originals is the hyperfast or the PFR30L45CT? Schottky diodes have low fwd voltage but isn’t as good for blocking reverse voltage. Without knowing what It’s being used for rectifying can’t answer your question, what’s being rectified? Is is mains?
