Question about Vpp

Hi all,
If I set a sine wave on my function generator with an Amplitude of 1 Vpp, it means 1 Volt peak to peak? If I connect the generator to my scope, set my vertical to 1 Volt and count the horizontal lines it's 1 Volt up, and 1 volt down, and if I set my measurement Pk-Pk on, it says 2.12 Volt. See the pictures. Is this right?

Regards,

Mark

You can change the output on your signal generator from 50 Ω to "high impedance." I do not know the keystrokes for doing that on the Siglent, but I am sure it can be done.

Yes, i overlooked that. I switched to HiZ, and now I have the correct reading on my scope. Thanks for the reply!
