Hi,

Does anyone have experience of SIPO Shift registers? Specifically the NPIC6C595.

I have the same clock pulse of 100ms going into SHCP and STCP and all 1's going into DS.

MR is pulled up to 5V with a 10k resistor and OE is grounded.

I am looking at the outputs Q7 to Q0 and they are all 0's when I was expecting 1's.

Anyone know if I'm doing this wrong.

Q7 to Q0 outputs are open-drain.
You need pull-up resistors to +5V on the output pins.
10kΩ will do nicely.
