For some reason the connection between R2, pin 2 (Node00619) has only a single connection. Why is that happening?

 

If you don't need to reset the 4040 then you can connect the Pin 11(Reset) to Ground directly, if you need to reset the 4040 then you can connect the Pin 11 with a 10K to Ground, and also connects Pin 11 to the control pin which you want to use it to reset the 4040.

 

Although Spice may not care about the floating reset input, it's a no-no with real world CMOS circuits.
