Hello ACC Forum,

Looking for a circuit to build a
Power supply 110 volts AC to 24 volts DC 1.5 - 2 amps

Have found lots of posts on 3v, 5, volt and especially 12 volt

Have seen several designs for 12 volt 6, 8 and 10 amp circuits.
Need to build a circuit to power a controller for
an LED COB strip

The wall wart that comes with the strip is 1.5 amps
and will supply plenty of juice for a 16 foot COB strip.
I would like to replace the wall wart with a small
PCB.

Go to your local HW store and pick up a bell transformer, order a bridge rectifier, and maybe a 100uf capacitor and you're in business.
Much sturdier than the SMPS versions.

Thats exactly what I need. But the link goes to Aliexpress in Russian. Been trying to figure out how to find AC-DC Switching power supply module AC 110V 220V to DC 24 V 1.5 A
on the English language site.
Or what button on the Russian site goes to the English site.

You can try to find that power module on aliexpress.com.
For me aliexpress.com is not accessible, I use aliexpress.ru.
On aliexpress.ru in right top corner I see buttons:
«Kazakhstan» - delivery address
"EN" - Language
«USD» - Currency.
Click on them for choosing.

 

Hello Danko max headroom and the AAC forum,

Clicking on ‘EN‘ made the Russian Ali Express legible but when checkout was clicked it said Russian AliExpress could not sell me the power supply because I live in the USA, not Russia.
But a screen shot was used to do an image search at the Ali Express USA site and the purchase was completed.

ebay has a gillion small power supply modules and kits, both switching and linear. Are you looking to build or buy?
