I am trying to identify a resistor type which is from a switched-mode power supply. The resistor feeds a switching FET pair for the transformer.

It's 0.1Ω (Brown, Black, Silver, Gold) and rough grey in colour.

Is this likely to be a fused resistor?

It might be a fusible resistor, but its purpose in the circuit is to monitor the current through the FETs.

 

Normally shunt resistors on FETs are not fused.
If the resistor is open, then the FETs are shorted.

 

It's probably a current sense resistor in the Source pin, but more information would be better.
