Anyone ever heard of software that you can scan a schematic with and have it simulated from the scan?

No. Maybe something worth developing. I am sure there is a market for it.
If they can do character recognition, schematic capture from an image should not be much more difficult.

A program that would grab a scan of a circuit and create a simulation would be huge and very expensive. Software that reads text is tricky enough already.
And consider that it would still be required to check and make sure the drawing reader got it right..
Entering a circuit for simulation is a good way to check for errors, anyway.
