Hi All,
Ive got a motor controller that supports potentiometer. Im looking to add a hall effect accelerator. Is there an adapter or do you have to create/build one yourself?

Thanks

Now that that's cleared up,

1. what is the range of voltages on the wiper of the pot.

2. Also can you confirm that the output of the pot is DC and

3. which end of the range corresponds to maximum speed?

4. If you know, is the output of the foot pedal maximum when fully depressed?

Sorry, we cross posted. That controller advertisement lacks information. Apparently, its pot is 100K ohms. Can you measure the voltage across the two outer pins of that pot. Center pin is the wiper, i.e., signal.

If you are measuring voltage, you want the red lead to be in the socket labeled VΩHz on the far right.

Do not attach the Hall device to the three pot wires until you know the voltage.

Do you have an instruction manual for your multimeter? Please read it.
