It will be up and running on Friday at the latest. I'll let you know how it works
I'm actually using mine to heat a 500 gallon pond I'm putting in my basement I got all my walls up waiting on the liner and I should be able to install mine I'm gonna run it off a 50 amp double breaker with 6 gauge wire best of luck to you and thank you I've been looking on the internet for a while to figure this out I found out that these heater are actually knock off Coates's heater from China

Howdy. I wired the heater today and turned it on for a few seconds. Didn't do longer than that since it doesn't have water in it yet.
I installed a strain relief and soldered the lugs on, then coated them with liquid tape and then electrical tape.
I will let you know this weekend if it actually heats water.

Connected the heater and started heating the pool. The heater worked well, BUT it was drawing 50 amps or close to it for about 6 hours. The breakers tripped twice, so I disconnected one leg of the heater. That should result in increasing the resistance of the remaining parallel circuit and drop the amperage by about a half or so.
It will be left on all night, and we will see in the morning if 5kw is enough to heat the pool overnight

Howdy As of 0700 this morning the outside air temp is 59f and the pool is 95f! The breakers have not tripped since I rewired the heater. It is now wired as in the second drawing in post 51. Sofar it looks like a success!.
YMMV
