Yesterday I mounted a Shelly Pro 4PM through a motor protection to out pool pump. After 15 hours is went poof, and I can see all the electronics are burned. It was never turned off, and I can see it drew a steady 500W. Isn't it possible to draw this through this device?

My experience with Shelly is very good. They offer excellent customer service. If you haven’t spoken with them yet, you should. They will have a definitive answer.

On its face, the load is much less than the 16A per channel it is rated for, which is another reason to contact them.
