i have a confusion in the word ground in radio electronics?I am little confused about the subject "ground" in radio electronics.my confusion is 1)should we connect the ground wire to the earth.
or 2)should we leave the ground wire as it is without contacting it with any other part of the circuit.WHICH ONE IS CORRECT. please explain

It would be helpful if you would expand on this statement a little.

Are you referring to a terminal marked ground on the back of some equipment? Or to one of the terminals on an aerial connection? or what?

How do you mean connect to earth? To a metal stake in the ground or to a mains earth in the supply or what?
