Right, I am very sorry for not posting a response earlier, I will post an answer up. I had posted this and then solved it and forgot about the post. I apologize.

If you've solved it and don't need help anymore, then there's no pressing need to post your work or a solution. If it's easy for you to do, then by all means go ahead. You will probably get some useful feedback about alternative, perhaps easier, ways to have gone about it and, if nothing else, it makes the thread more useful for people that are searching for problems that they can try on their own.
