Pinnodes in GAL chip

Hello,

I am programming the GAL16V8 chip to implement a sequential system. I would like to know whether this chip has internal nodes that can be used to represent state variables (which do not always need to be assigned output pins).

Any help would be much appreciated,

thanks

The flip-flops in this part are all routed to output pins and fed back to the internal fuse array. You do know that these parts are discontinued by Lattice -- right?

thanks for your reply.

so you mean that there are no pinnodes and i will have to use output pins for my state variables?

yeah I know it has been phased out. Unfortunately we still use them at my uni to study PLDs
