It is the old techfx controller and software. One controller works fine but I need to control two heaters seperately. It uses a pic microcontroller and an ad597 adc k type thermocouple and connects to pc with usb.
Are you just wanting to switch two heaters on and off simultaneously, or independently? If "independently" from one controller, then no you can't . You only have one thermocouple input, so no way to sense two independent temperatures. Controller manual
I want to connect two together and change the software to control both.l know it only has one thermocouple input but I have 2 of them.I haven't been able to find anything to tell me how to do it.I'm pretty sure it can be done.I need somebody with more experience to point me in the right direction. Thanks
I want to use them independent of each other and controlled by the same software so I can load profiles with the software using one for top heat and one for bottom heat which would be different temps
I'm not familiar with the software, but isn't it just a matter of plugging USB cable into the first one and down load it's profile? Then plug the USB cable into the second one and download a different profile?

You would have to have two profiles running don't know how well that would work I just want to run one profile. It is a bga machine I am trying to make it work with. They were made reflow oven hence one input.I'm open to suggestions though.
