Taken by a friend of mine who's spending some time near the shore of Lake Huechulafquen in front of Volcano Lanín, Patagonia Argentina.

 

Vietnam War memorial at Heck Park in Monroe, Michigan. There is a museum too I found out, but it's closed for the season.





The plaque actually goes with the one on the pole above.



The names of all the fallen or MIA from Monroe County.


Unrelated to Vietnam, but still interesting. I found there are actually several memorials in lower Michigan to check out.

 

Taken through 18 inches of fast flowing water. The minnow is about 1 1/2" long

 

Daughter and SIL, traveled four hours from Ho-Chi-Min to a hotel somewhere in the middle of the Mekong River Delta - Vietnam. A short stay of 24 hours enough to relax in the middle of silence.

Here, he is blending in with the local people.

Some car the cops were following last at night turned down our dead-end street. Two arrested and car towed.
