There you go.Back off on that frame so that people can see the whole reflection.

How old is he? Still in business, with enough work for a living?Recently, I saw this TV/Radio repair shop that looked like a landmark from days gone by. I stopped in and spoke with the owner for a while - real nice guy. Where I am standing and taking the picture from is the only free area in the shop. I could tell he had a work area in the back, but it was not accessible (to me).

He was something like 65-70+ I would guess. I thought about how he could possibly make a living doing that even if he was on eBay and so on and so forth. It is possible that he lives upstairs or there is some legacy situation, I just don’t know. How old is he? Still in business, with enough work for a living?

On a related topic, I think it would make a really nice book for someone to tour the country tracking down these old shops. Complete with pictures and interviews. I envision a younger EEphyllic type with a History or English writing degree and a Humanities minor with a penchant for photography. Live out of your car for a year, see the country. Maybe one could even get a grant from a historical preservation society of some kind.
It’s a bit different, but there is a fellow who does this kind of thing with Horse Racing - https://www.mcchump.com/ . He visits all of these tracks, large and small, and gives a little photo essay of the visit. I enjoyed it quite a bit and, in a sense, it is preserving history.

In an earlier post, I explained the etymology of my user name. I am a Disney fanatic. So instead of Disney World, I chose dj’s fantasi. (Fantasy with a ‘y’ was too mundane, so I used a ‘i’)Since you did the hat I now see it as 2 parts all these years I never got your user name. Now I get it, the first time I tried to pronounce it I was thinking, that is a very interesting username.
