It's been quite a while since I posted here so I figure that earns me multiple submissions. Here are some phone pics I had tagged as "favorites" for one reason or another.

This is spray from a pressure washer turbo nozzle with the sun behind it. I like it.

This is a bucket my kids left in the ditch for weeks and became covered in algea. It creeps me out as much as it intrigues me.

These are roof trusses I built for the playhouse I'm building for my kids. I like the symmetry of it.

Here's a view of strantor manor from atop the kids playhouse.

These are my work boots. I was a pallbearer at my uncle's funeral last month and didn't realize that it was going to be a western themed event. All the other pallbearers were wearing cowboy boots and Jeans; I would have stood out with my black suit. Couldn't afford to go out and buy nice boots so I tried to make my work boots look presentable. Not sure if I succeeded in that, but I definitely made them look different.

Nothing too artistic about this one but it's a picture of my 6y/o daughter refurbishing a Lincoln MIG welder (chipping all the dirt dauber nests out of it).

My 4y/o daughter crawled into my bed and fell asleep with these disgusting feet.

Nice! I love carpentry, but I seldom have the chance to practice it anymore.
My amateur carpenter badge doesn't get much exercise either. What you see there is a "family time" venture. The kids are helping me build it. I had become too engrossed in running a business, so a couple of months ago I established a policy of spending at least one day each week, preferably two, no matter the backlog, engaged in some sort of constructive family project. Our first project is finishing this playhouse I started last year and then neglected. Here are some pictures of the helpers helping.

You have to be very careful what you let your kids do these days (i.e. climb a ladder, go on a errand alone etc), someone may report you to child and family services for allowing them to do things unattended etc.
Truly sad days!:(

Even worse: I hope he pulled all the proper permits. And paid off the various local union leaders.
