Wifey is becoming a sort of mushroom picture expert ...

​

 

I love picking morels with my grandson in the spring. It's one of only two mushrooms I can identify with confidence - the other being puffballs. I'm frequently frustrated the rest of the year when we spot beautiful fresh mushrooms in the woods but, because of ignorance, we can never risk tasting them. Really good pictures like this one would help!

That particular mushroom doesn't look appealing, despite the gorgeous photo.

Awesome shot. I love the way the bug only appears after you see the flower and look a little more closely.
