Is there a programmer compatible (that really works) with PIC16F1827?

Sure. The programmer that really works is the Microchip PICKIT 3 programmer ( or clones). If you are on a budget maybe your PIC is compatible with the PICKIT 2 programmer. This cost somewhat less than the PICKIT 3. But support less PICs than the PICKIT 3, that should support almost every PIC based on flash memory

I have JDM (serial programmer) and VT134, but they do not support PIC16F1827. And both have a zif-socket.

PICKIT 3 has no zif-socket, I think... It must be programmed "in circuit"?

To program any flash based PIC. You will need only 5 wires. ZIF sockets are not needed. Those who sell PICKITs clones/programmers often try to sell you some kind of ZIF socket board also. But it is not needed. They like to do it. To get most of your money. If you are on budget. The board is good and you get a set of tutorials (in english) in C with it.

Yes this works best with in circuit serial programming. All you need is a header with 6 pins (and only 5 of those get connected).

 

PICKIT3 + MPLABX = working solution.

Thank you all. I'll buy PICKIT 3. I've been seeing the datasheet and it seems a good choice.

When I do the PCBs with my PICs I will put on them a socket (5 pin/wires) to connect to the programmer.
