This is Demo to guide how to build PIC Programmer using Arduino Board. We can use any Arduino board to program PIC Controller. This programmer works only on PIC which has Low Voltage Programming.
I am using PIC16F1847 pic which has Low Voltage Programming.
This project requires only arduino board and PIC which is to be program.
Please find the link for Schematic.

Required Components:
Arduino Board With USB to Serial
USB to Serial (if USB to serial is not present on Board)
PIC Controller like PIC16F1847
Breadboard
Jumpers
LED
Resistor - 220 ohm

(Schematic is updated)

No wiring diagram? Video is shot too far away to discern how the project was wired.

And the lead-in states simplistically that only an Arduino and a pic was needed. I’ll overlook the patch cables. It’s easy to overlook them in a parts list. But the USB to serial should have been listed. And I argue, the breadboard should be listed as well.

A project should be complete and detailed. As is, I foresee many people could not use this project.

Agreed. Projects such as this are encouraged and appreciated if they are sufficiently documented (schematics, code listings, parts list) so that others can replicate the project on their own. That is also the standard for inclusion in the Completed Projects section if that's your goal.

As it stands, the video submitted does not meet those standards so I have deleted the link to avoid running afoul of the prohibition of 'site promotion'posts'. If you decide to provide more information, let me know via PM and we'll take a look.

Thanks for your understanding.
