Hiya I have a spare cool box one of those plastic insulated picnic ones . I was thinking of making it into a mobile freezer as it costs a fortune to buy one . I have been looking online and you can buy these peltier coolers with heatsink fan peltier a DIY kit but I'm not sure if they will freeze the contents of a cool box . Obviously I am trying to keep costs down but I want it to work and last and be safe . If I replace the heat sink on the hot side with a bigger one will it make the cold side colder ??. Any help will be appreciated thanks Keith

A Peltier unit will only generate some maximum temperature difference between the two sides.
