The part has two PC pins for electrical connection and two holes for support.

I'm wondering if anyone is able to point me to the best way to support this part? Is there a plastic snap? Old fashioned nut and screw? Keep in mind a user might be fairly rough removing batteries.

I'm pretty sure that will have screw holes in it, and I'd use those. I'd be tempted to also use an adhesive, maybe hot glue underneath it.
