Hi, Please find the image of capacitor based exhaust fan motor; in which there is a circuit used. Could anybody tell me what is is function of PCB used in this type of motor.

 

Here is another motor used in exhaust fan where i didn't see any PCB. Does the use of PCB improves the performance of the motor or what?

 

It appears to connect the stator windings and carry the thermal fuse shown.

In this case the PCB is simply for packaging.. (to make connections easier)
Well and to hold the fuse
