I have a circuit that uses +15V, -15 volts and ground. My ac/dc converter churns out +Vo and ground at 15V. Does this mean that I can use these as +15V and -15V resp and the body of the equipment as the ground? I know I can just test the ac/dc converter to see what output I get, but I thought I can verify beforehand. Plus if the ac/dc converter gives me only a +15V and ground, is there a way I could produce a -15V?

Thanks.

actually the ac/dc converter that i received does not have a dual output and a dual output converter is pretty expensive. a dc/dc converter is expensive too. any solutions?

It would help a great deal if you would tell us what your circuits' current requirements are, and what input power you have available.
