Hello,
I'm working on a project based on a Atmega2560. It will be connected to a computer with a Micro USB, and will interface with two systems that use RS232 via a RJ11 port.
This is my first PCB design and I would appreciate some feedback. I made sure to avoid routing on the bottom ground plane as much as possible to keep a nice solid ground plane.
I have read that the IC should have a isolated "ground island" on a 2 layer board. I was going to do that, but then my return signals would have a much longer loop, and for my UART especially, a higher impedance since they wouldn't be able to run directly under the traces.
Green is bottom, red is top.
Thanks!
