Part needed, not sure what it is called "electronic switch?"

I need something (ideally off the shelf) that allows for control over a electronic switching circuit.

The idea is in short.

I have 2 circuits.
At all times one of them is powered.
It switches between the two circuits 120 times a second.

Creating 2 DC circuits pulsed DC 60 times a second each.

I can be flexible on the Volts/amps - system is very forgiving but I need the electronic switch for it to work.

Any one have what I am looking for or know where I can get it/make it?

Look for a bridge rectifier (or use 4 diodes to roll your own)

Ok, I can use AC with a bridge rectifier set up... but it gives me 2 30htz circuits not 2 60 htz circuits...

I still need it to switch between two circuits - so you didn't even answer my first question.

Any one else?

Ok mrchips that is the stuff I need to know, any link to a place I can learn how to set the frequency? I have seen a lot on 555 chips but nothing on settings.

(then I just need an electronic switching mechanism of some sort)

sghioto thanks

I knew it would be something like this.

Hmmm but doesn't this still out put 30hrtz on the 2 circuits? needs to output 60htz to both - alternating one on the other off on a flip flop.

Figured with the right resisters or capacitors maybe hooked into the system I can get the timing correct. or can we do that with this double circuit layout?

ok, what is this part called, I see the circuit - few diodes - does not look like a hard circuit to make and seems to do exactly what I need.
Sorry if I am stupid on circuits... this is making pulsed dc 60 to both loads... correct?
(or am I misreading and this is 30 hrts to the 2 loads)
This circuit is switching loads every 0.0083(3) sec. During 1sec. it is 1/0.0083(3) = 120 switches.

If You would tell us what You are trying to accomplish with the entire Circuit,
and preferably also provide a Schematic-Diagram,
there may be a much more elegant and simple solution.

The 555 does not divide but produces a 60hz. square wave. When the output from the 555 is low circuit #1 is activated, circuit #2 when the output is high. Each circuit is pulsed 60 times a second.

Ok, so the circuit would be like this yes? (see image)

I am charging 2 coils to induce a magnetic controlled circuit/current - red is positive, black is negative, need to take the black back to ground... Yes?

NOTE: I am rebuilding a tech I helped a guy with that works, makes electricity by pulling electrons out of the atmosphere for a COP of 4 to 5 - the electrons in the atmosphere are the "fuel source" and that is recharged by the sun making the atmosphere the "battery" - the energy is pulled off the "battery" by the collapsing magnetic field/coil - but you need to have the right circuit to get it started - I'd ask him but he made a 100% electric powered/driven yacht with 3 of these as the power plants and took to sea - so now I have to learn circuits and make my own...

But, do I have this part right?

Ok, so I am going from AC - to dc - to power the collapsing fields.

Any idea on how I can get some sort of power pac ac system or advice on the capacitor to power an ac system? - need enough residual charge for me to flip a switch and have it "self power" Like... an inverter with a capacitor built on? what do you think I would be looking for.

Here is the tech I helped the guy build (he built his own - is not the inventor) but a lot of the circuitry stuff is over my head.

I need to set up a power/capacitor system to give it the initial push.

Split that into the two Coils (see 26 and 28) this moves the energy around the circuit on the charged coils side as the magnetic diode (see 12) makes it so electrons want to go around the circuit in one direction.

From there I will need to work out the thickness of the wire and turns needed for the Cols (see 28 and 26) that give it the push, and the coils that collect the extra energy (see 30 and 29).

Maybe you can make better heads n tails of what is going on in here as I have to keep looking up every word.

Good luck. Personally, I am going to stick with my solar panels. I just calculated that they produce as much energy as an atmospheric discharge (AKA lightning bolt) over three three days of full sun in the summer.

Don't need luck, helped build one - just need to build it for myself so I can have atmospheric power instead of that"solar" crap

So you expect to get useful power out of this?

I repeat, good luck. It has been studied since Ben Franklin and no useful power had been demonstrated yet.
