Even playing with balls also helps to get rid of cramps....

 

Something I heard that seems to work. Plain yellow mustard (not the fancy kind) will stop cramps cold. Something I picked up on a medical show on PBS, The People's Pharmacy.

 

Hi - sounds like a bad cramp to me. How long does the pain last? is it relieved with walking on it? Your sex and age can come into this as well. If female and over 45 you might be a bit magnesiun deficient.
However I agree with the others above - go see your doctor.
