Oscilloscope DC Offset Effect on Excel File when saving a Screenshot

Hello,

Assume we have a 0V - 5V square wave signal displayed on the oscilloscope. If I apply a DC offset in the scope to say -2.5V, this will shift the signal so that we have a -2.5V to 2.5V square wave signal displayed on the oscilloscope. If I now save this shot and plot it in Excel, will the resulting signal display 5V or 2.5V as the maximum signal amplitude? I don't have access to my lab now to check, but I am compiling some results and although the RMS DC voltage in my rectifier is 100V, the signal goes from -30V to +70V. This just doesn't make sense to me, but I do remember that I applied DC offsets to some signals so that they were all displayed in a certain way. Applying this DC offset is the only way I can imagine this was created.

Anyone have any input on the above or can test it for me? The output diode I measured across is grounded and should be 100V peak voltage.

Best,
SiC
