Dear Team,

I have a question about opamp output current and supply current.
Let us take one opamp let it be AD8531(https://www.analog.com/media/en/technical-documentation/data-sheets/AD8531_8532_8534.pdf)

It can provide an output current of 250mA, but from the supply, it is only taking 750uA.

May I know from where the remaining current is coming?

That 750µA is the opamp's quiescent current with no output load.
Since the output load current depends upon the load impedance, it's not shown in the data sheet.
You would add the output current to the quiescent current value to get the total opamp supply current.
