Florida man throws deli meat at police officer

That cop is amazing. To dodge the Kung Fu skills of Florida Man is not an easy feat.

Those are domestic rabbits! Someone must have been overloaded with bunnies and dropped them off in another neighborhood! I'm surprised the hawks aren't having a feast on them as they have very little protection skills. And They breed like rabbits! And do like to dig burrows and rabbit warrens!

I am sure this doesn't happen Only in Florida, but scary nonetheless:

and to think, there are those that believe it's helping drug addicts and the general public at large, to hand out the means to smoke this drug.

On Portland’s Fentanyl Corner, a Dance With Death Sells for $20
What’s now being sold on this corner is a drug so powerful and unpredictable that observers can watch its victims collapse within feet of obtaining it.

I will never understand people that don't like to have their mind and thoughts in their natural state and under control ...
I've been there before but I was young, far from home, during dangerous, horrible times and by the grace of a possible deity didn't really like the feeling of smoking opium or boozing until you pass-out (can't even imagine the effects of modern drugs). The choice for some was, what we call now PTSD in the long term or maybe self-medicate on mind numbing narcotics for the hopefully short term.

I have been on morphine in the hospital, and it feels pretty good when you would otherwise be in pain. In my case, physical. But I presume it is the same when one’s situation is desperate. Feels like floating on a cloud. On the other hand, I was happy to get back to reality.

Morphine (opium) puts you into dreamland, relieves the pain and helps you rest. After they removed my cancerous kidney at the Mayo Clinic hospital, they had 2 time-operated IV delivery machines. One with fentanyl, the other had ketamine in it. One to kill the pain and the other to forget about the pain. The nurses referred to the Ketamine as the "Magic Box". I've had IV Demerol after having a myelogram where they inject dye into the spinal column fluid for imaging that caused Chemical Meningitis which is extremely painful. IV Demerol feels like lava going into your vein. They had to keep changing veins and I was left with Phlebitis in both arms when they released me from the hospital but the chemical meningitis was far worse. Bad stuff, but a hypodermic of it in the butt is great stuff for pain. Dilaudid is probably the most common IV pain relief since morphine seems to be rarely used these days although I have been given it in the last 10 years.

“He only had a dollar, to live until next Monday
But he spent it in some comfort for his mind
Did you say you think he is blind?”

Marvelous song Snowblind Friend, by rock legends Steppenwolf.
